Frequently Asked Questions and Answers:

First thing I would you to know is this is the only cabin my daughter and I own. We use it 2-3 times a year for vacation. We are not a large company. We will answer any questions you have and be as hands on or off as you would like. My cleaners are a couple that live a few miles from the cabin. They work extremely hard to keep the cabin in tip top shape.  

1. When can I check in and when is check out? Check in is anytime after 4:00pm on your arrival date and check out is anytime before 10:00am on your departure date. For all guests security your unique door code is only valid during these times. 

2. What items are provided? My cleaners are a hard working couple that keeps the cabin sparkling clean. The "cleaning fee" is paid to them. Along with making the cabin sparkle prior to every guest they provides a variety of K-Cups with sugar and creamer, soft high quality linens and towels, shampoo and conditioner, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap and sponges, and dish washer detergent.

3. Is the downstairs another rental? No, the downstairs is currently an unfinished basement. In the near future I will be building it out to a second bedroom and game room with a pool table and arcade game! The entire property is yours when staying there. 

4. Does the cabin have WiFi? Yes, River Rush has free high speed wireless internet. The WiFi will reach out to both decks and the firepit also!

5. How do I access the cabin? As your trip approaches I will reach out to you with a unique door code for you to use during your stay. I will also send the cabin address and information for the WiFi!

6. How are the mosquitoes at the cabin? I pay a professional company to spray for mosquitoes during the summer months. While this may not eliminate them 100% with the cabin being right on the river it makes it so you should see very few if any during your visit.

7. Is the river accessible? Currently there are trees and brush blocking a clear path to the river. The river is accessible right now but it can be challenging. By the end of the October I will be removing several trees and creating a better access point to be able to get to the river to fish and swim. Stay Tuned! 

8. Is firewood provided for the firepit? No, however generally in early fall I visit the cabin and cut up some trees and leave logs for the firepit. While it is not guaranteed there will be firewood there are generally sticks all around the property that you can use. Some guests have used a starter log and added sticks to it.

9. When is the indoor fireplace available? The indoor fireplace is gas burning with real flames. The fireplace is generally available during the cooler months from October-March but varies every year based on the weather. 

10. Is River Rush listed on other sites? Yes, River Rush is listed on some of the larger sites. You will always receive the best rates and no booking fees on this website though.
